Executive Production

As an executive producer I focus on editorial development and execution, so that we’re telling compelling stories with great characters to produce must-watch shows. Along the way I work closely with production partners, buyers and talent to ensure the shows are on track during production and post-production.

At MSNBC I developed and launched several new streaming shows, with emerging talent including Tony Dokoupil, Janet Mock, and Luke Russert.

After a decade at NBC, my production work turned to tentpole live music events for Global Citizen: in New York, Mumbai, Hamburg, Montreal, and Johannesburg. I negotiated distribution deals with national and international broadcasters, producing shows in partnership with them as well as world-class live concert production companies, writing scripts and working alongside managers of some of the biggest artists in the world.

My production work developed with my first feature, directed by Ron Howard, about the extraordinary work of World Central Kitchen, the non-profit founded by José Andrés.  We Feed People was produced for National Geographic and was nominated for an Emmy award.

My next production was the six-part Discovery+ series featuring José and his daughters traveling and eating their way around Spain. José Andrés And Family In Spain was produced with Nutopia, and won an Emmy for Outstanding Culinary Series in 2023. It was the third-highest rated show on Discovery+ at launch, and was re-aired on CNN, winning the ratings battle against its cable news competition.

Our next project was Dinner Party Diaries with José Andrés, a special show produced with Film 45 for Amazon Prime Video, featuring José cooking with guests Jamie-Lee Curtis, Bryan Cranston, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. The show won the RealScreen Award for Studio-Based Food in 2025.

We’re now in production on a new show for NBC, hosted by José and Martha Stewart, called Yes, Chef! It’s been a joy to work on this one. We’re blessed with fantastic support from our friends at NBC and an outstanding team put together by our production partners at the Magical Elves. The show features 12 talented chefs who need to figure out how to work as a team, and how to lead, as they compete against one another — and struggle with their own demons. It airs and streams in April, and I’m pretty sure you’ll love it.
